    Go-Karts Guide

BERG Go-Karts in Cork: Choosing by Age

Five BERG pedal go-karts, from €299, all held in stock and delivered within 48 hours.

A BERG go-kart is a pedal kart: no battery and no charging. Choosing one comes down to which frame size fits your child now and how many years you want it to last. BERG publishes an age guide for each frame, and that is the place to start.

    The three frame sizes

    Buddy: 3 to 8 years

The smallest frame we stock and the usual first kart. We hold two: the Buddy B.Orange and the Buddy Lua. The Lua has a pink and green colour scheme and is otherwise the same kart as the B.Orange.

    Rally: 4 to 12 years

A larger frame than the Buddy, with an age guide that runs four years further. We hold the Rally NRG Orange and the Rally DRT Green.

    XL: 5 years to adult

The largest frame we stock, and the one an older child, a teenager or a parent can also ride. We hold the XL B.Pure Blue BFR.

    Which frame for which age

Reading BERG's three age guides together gives this:

Child's ageFrames within BERG's age guide
    3Buddy
    4Buddy or Rally
5 to 8Buddy, Rally or XL
    9 to 12Rally or XL
    Teenager or adultXL

Where two or three frames overlap, the smaller one fits a younger child sooner and the larger one lasts longer. Age is only a guide: children of the same age vary a lot in height, so if yours is tall or small for their age, ring us on 021 601 7112 and we will tell you which kart fits.

    What BFR means

BFR means the kart has BERG's BFR hub. You pedal forwards to go, pedal back to brake, and can then pedal backwards to reverse. Of the karts we stock, the XL B.Pure Blue BFR carries it in its name. If reverse matters to you on one of the others, ask us before you order.

Only what we hold in stock

BERG makes more go-karts than the five on this page. We list only the ones we hold in our own Irish warehouse, so a kart shown here is a kart we can send. They are delivered within 48 hours to Cork, Munster and the rest of Ireland, and delivery on go-karts is free.

Three accessories are sold on the shop: a passenger seat, Buddy lights and a push handle. Ring us to check which kart each one fits. BERG's manual covers assembly. You can see the karts together on the go-kart page at TrampolinesIreland.com.

    Questions

Which BERG go-kart suits a 4 year old?

BERG's age guides put a 4 year old on either the Buddy (3 to 8 years) or the Rally (4 to 12 years). The Buddy is the smaller frame; the Rally has more years of growing room. If you tell us your child's height we will say which fits now.

What does BFR mean on a BERG go-kart?

BFR means the kart has BERG's BFR hub: you pedal forwards to go, pedal back to brake, and can then pedal backwards to reverse. Of the karts we stock, the XL B.Pure Blue BFR carries it in its name.

How quickly are go-karts delivered to Cork?

The karts on this page are held in our own Irish warehouse and delivered within 48 hours, to Cork, Munster and the rest of Ireland. Delivery on go-karts is free.

Do you sell other BERG go-karts?

No. We list only the five karts we hold in stock, so what you see here is what we can deliver.

Are there accessories for the karts?

Three are sold on the shop: a passenger seat, Buddy lights and a push handle. Ring us to check which kart each one fits before you order.
